Interpersonal Difficulties

Interpersonal problems are recurrent difficulties in relating to others, and has remained a very common reason for people to need psychotherapy

 

Interpersonal problems can emerge in their own right as different people clash, or it may be a symptom of other underlying problems such as anxiety or depression.

 

Whatever the cause, as social beings, strained relationships can be difficult to manage. It can affect our self-esteem and confidence, it can make managing life change difficult and contribute to already poor communication skills.

 

Today, therapists employ a variety of alternative psychotherapies that help clients change unhealthy behaviors and life patterns. Despite their differences, these healing methods all have in common the belief that people who heal are those who take at least partial responsibility for their mental health.
